Volunteer Opportunities
We are ALWAYS grateful for donations, but it takes time and effort to sort boxes and stock shelves! Recently placed foster children come to Garrett’s Place every week to shop for basic needs and wishes. Everything in our store is free to these children. We want every child to have a genuine shopping experience where they can choose the things that give confidence, bring joy, and provide comfort and belonging as they live in a new home.
We need volunteers so we can be ready to serve when a foster family walks in our front door.

Junior Ambassadors
The Junior Ambassadors program is for children ages 10 yrs. to 15 yrs. old, who want to make a difference in kids' lives right here in their community! Garrett’s Place Junior Ambassadors assist with sharing the heart of the mission to children's groups and assisting them with learning how to volunteer, show kindness and be a working part of the community. They welcome kids as they come into our shop and join adult staff and volunteers in carrying out our mission through helping during events and speaking engagements.
